Are you determined to pass the DELE exam and you’re looking for the best resources to do it? If so, surely you will be wondering if you should buy a book or if it is enough with what you find on the Internet (everything is there, right?).
Our personal advice is to use at least one book to prepare yourself for this exam. It’s true that on the Internet you will find a multitude of material that will help you and make your study easier, but it will be difficult for you to find it as organized, summarized and reliable as in recommended books (usually written by DELE examiners).
Of course, you don’t need to buy the book. You can ask a friend or borrow it in a library. If you prefer to buy it, either because you don’t have access to it or because you like the book to be yours (so you can do scribbles and cartoons!), we propose some links to our recommended books:
1. Preparación al Diploma de Español (Editorial Edelsa)
Very well-known and recommended book to prepare the DELE because of the similarity of their exam models with which you will find yourself in reality. With this book, you must also buy the booklet of keys, which will give you the solution and explanation to the questions. Highly recommended.

All these books have the approval of ‘El Instituto Miguel de Cervantes’, in charge of conducting the exams, and therefore, we can ensure that they are convenient to help you study. Most of them contain activities to practice, tips and guidelines for taking a good exam, and exam models with which we can practice (including audio CDs). It is obvious that the more you practice the better, but don’t become obsessed. It’s better to understand well and do all the activities of a single book than to look over everyone.
The book you have will guide you and will be the basis of your study. There you will have exam models and you can see what is more difficult for you. From there, you can solve your doubts on the Internet (there will always be someone who has your same quetions or weaknesses and always someone who solves them or is willing to help you).
